Empowering Girls Through Mobility: Finolex, MMF, and FICCI FLO Distribute Cycles in Kolkata

Kolkata, October 17, 2025: Mukul Madhav Foundation, the CSR wing of Finolex Industries Limited, teamed up with FICCI FLO Kolkata to distribute bicycles, boosting girls’ access to education and independence.
This initiative, part of the Rural Livelihood Vertical, targets rural communities nationwide, with over 300 cycles handed out to help young girls commute safely to school. MMF’s ongoing efforts in education and welfare align with FLO’s focus on women’s economic empowerment through skill-building and sustainable programs.
Ritu Chhabria, MMF’s Managing Trustee and FIL’s CSR Head, remarked, “A simple cycle can transform a girl’s life, ensuring regular, safe school attendance and brighter futures.”
Nidhi Jhunjhunwala, FICCI FLO Kolkata Chairperson, added, “This symbolizes freedom and opportunity, paving ways for confident women.”
Dignitaries like Tulika Das of WBCPCR, actress Jaya Seal Ghosh, and influencer Koninika De graced the event, highlighting collective commitment to equality and social impact.
