Empowering Asthma Care: AATC Moulali Leads World Asthma Day 2025 Efforts

Kolkata: Dr. Arijit Das, Chairman of the Allergy & Asthma Treatment Centre (AATC) Moulali, emphasized the importance of personalized, evidence-based care for asthma and allergic disorders during World Asthma Day 2025, organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) under the theme “Empowering People with Asthma.” AATC Moulali announced hosting free pulmonary function tests (PFT) and awareness camps across Kolkata, West Bengal’s districts, and regions like Sunderbans and Bolpur. The annual “ALLERCON” seminar, attended by eminent doctors, was highlighted for discussing advancements in asthma treatment. Dr. Das reaffirmed that asthma should not limit potential, pledging comprehensive support through advanced diagnostics like Skin Prick Tests and Allergen Immunotherapy. AATC’s initiatives include educational webinars, community outreach, and social media campaigns to promote clean air and debunk asthma myths, urging policymakers to prioritize accessible healthcare and inclusive education.
